We believe in breaking barriers and making swimming accessible for all. Whether you take lessons with us or someone else, our mission is that every swimmer feels safe, confident, and joyful in the water.
Once you have reviewed our lesson and pricing options. Use our booking link to select your class dates and times. Once your class is booked, you will recieve an invoice via email. Payment must be made within 24 hours to avoid cancellation. If you are a first time student, you must also complete the student registration form.
We work with swimmers as young as 2 months (Parent & Me Swim) through adults of all ages. We also offer classes for toddlers, children, adults, and seniors. Check out our class types here.
Nope! We teach all levels - from complete beginners to swimmers looking to refine technique.
Private and semi-private lessons are 30 minutes. Parent & Me Swim is 25 minutes. Adult group lessons vary depending on the group size, minimum 30 minutes.
Every swimmer learns at their own pace. On average, families see steady progress with 6–12 consecutive lessons. That’s why we recommend our package options for the best results.
If you are unable to attend a session or have a prior conflict, please contact our team as soon as possible. Should scheduling conflicts arise, with enough advance notice, a minimum of 48 hours, we will do our very best to accommodate you when possible. Make-up sessions will not be provided for no-call no-shows. Make-up lessons will be provided at our discretion.
We require all students to be dressed in appropriate swim attire including a swimsuit and or swim diaper if the student is not potty-trained. Our first objective for beginners is to acclimate them to being in the water. The only pool accessory we recommend bringing is a towel for drying off!
While we understand that goggles, floaties, life jackets, and/or arm bands provide some comfort, these items can also create delays as beginners become more comfortable with the water. Please avoid bringing these items.
During lessons, instructors will provide flotation devices as needed and as aligned with each lesson. If you feel these items are necessary, please talk to your instructor about when and how these items can be used during class.
Yes! While some pools close seasonally, we continue to teach year-round at available facilities.
Parents must remain on-site for the duration of the class. We encourage parents to participate as “hidden” observers while also being accessible to staff at all times. We ask that you allow your child to focus on their instructor. For Parent & Me lessons, you’ll be in the water with your child.
Semi-private lessons are designed for two swimmers who are close in age and skill level. Each swimmer still gets individualized feedback, but they benefit from peer learning, too. You must establish your own pair before booking.
Yes — with our Mobile Private Lessons, we come to you if you have access to a private or community pool.

We offer instruction in a variety of swimming strokes, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. We also work on developing skills such as diving, flip turns, and treading water. Instruction is based on a solid foundation of water safety and then tailored to your unique goals.
We keep our class sizes small to ensure personalized attention and instruction. Our parent-child classes have a maximum of 10 parent-child pairs, while our other classes have a maximum of 2 students per instructor. Group classes are capped at 5 students.
For the most effective learning experience, we recommend 1–2 lessons per week to encourage muscle memory, build confidence, and ensure steady growth in the water. Consistency and repetition are key to helping you or your little swimmer comfortable & capable at every stage.
All sessions will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Spots will only be reserved with payment.
Our school does not offer a refund policy.

When a student is registered for a session, cancellation may not occur without a week's notice. Once a slot has been reserved for a student, it becomes unavailable for others. Please reach out to info@norsos.com if you must cancel your lesson. If more than a week's notice is provided, we will credit your account for the cost of your lesson.
In the event that the instructor has to cancel and the substitute is also unavailable, we can issue a credit or schedule a make-up session.
In the event of inclement weather, updates will be provided via email and classes will be rescheduled as appropriate. We will do our best to accommodate schedules as possible.
CONGRATULATIONS on taking the first step in advancing a new skill! Under the direction of our attentive and certified staff, we are excited to support the development of all swimmers across a range of ages and ability levels by blending research-based instructional practices with fun activities. Our goal is for each student to promote confidence and enthusiasm as each participant learns the skills needed to propel their bodies through the water with maximum efficiency.

Provided below is some useful information and a few tips to ensure a smooth and safe course.
1. Please plan to be early for your class (about 10 minutes). Each minute of each session is filled with valuable learning time and we do not want students to miss anything.
2. Practice, Practice, Practice! Speak regularly with your instructor to understand and support what is being done in class. Instructors are available and happy to provide recaps at the end of each lesson.
3. Patience. Never judge the process by one day’s results. Our program is developed to show progress over a four-week progression of skills and competencies. Not every learner will master the skills to advance in their first, second, or even the third attempt. Each level contains many skills and mastery only comes through careful repetition and practice. We believe with enough time and practice all of our students are capable of becoming expert-level swimmers.
